Google Chrome

Today Google unleashes a new product. Google Chrome. Chrome is a web browser designed by Google to enhance surfing the net. It came as a surprise to me that this product hasn’t gotten much press. After reviewing some of the features it seems like it could work extremely well or completely turn me of based on how much it keeps track of what I’m doing online.

From reviewing the overview via comic book style. My conclusions are that they are changing the look of Tabs compared to Firefox, they are going to keep the browser from completely crashing if one tab dies on you, managing memory resources when you have many tabs open, correctly freeing up memory when a Tab is closed, providing a list of your most commonly visited sites, and pretty much tracking all your trends online.

I might give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes. Chances are it’ll work well just like most Google products but my main concern is how much they’ll be recording about my web trends. Not to mention it just seems like Google has become Big Brother watching your every move online and now they come out with a browser to surf the net with… scary.
