Dr. Dre’s HIGHLY anticipated next album could finally be released this year. Dre quoted in an interview with USA Today says, “In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.” This could mean all the weight could be over in a few months.

Tons of the heavy weights close to Dre have given approval and only seem to hype up the album more and more.

We already have heard from Snoop Dogg that the final tracklist is done and now ready for a release. Snoop Dogg has been one to be reluctant of this album ever releasing and with such anticipation he’s even doubted it. He set it straight with saying the album is poppin’. Snoop has also announced Dre will be producing his next album. This is big news because after the release of Detox Dre wants to go back to the studio and produce another masterpiece he says.

Since Snoop said the album was done Bishop Lamont came out and said that the album is not complete and only 50% done. My speculation is that Dre is sitting in his studio trying to decide what will be the final track list. It is understood that Dre is expecting each track to be a single and puts tons of weight on Dre. It was said by Busta that Dre has a huge collection of tracks dating all the way back from the N.W.A days that have never been released. Dre may have the largest supply of weapons but the question is which will he use in his stock pile.

50 Cent who has put down some work on the new Detox album has given great praise. Another top artist confirms that this album is real and alive. 50 is a huge advocate of Dre and praises him as the best producer in the game.

A story shall be told in this album word is. No more talk of cars and blunts since Dre says he’s tired of it. Each artist that is featured is supposedly part of this great story. From what we know some of these characters are Bishop Lamont, Slim the Mobster, Nas, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Lil’ Wayne, and Eminem. Dre wants to include everyone he’s ever worked with to be a part of this great masterpiece. No one knows who’s in the final cast of this epic story. Many have come out and said they’ve worked with Dre on some tracks but no one knows if they’ll make the cut.

It’s been almost 10 years since Dre’s last release. He mentions that once this album is done he’s back to the studio. It could probably be another decade that passes till we hear another solo album from him. It has also been reported awhile back that this could be his final album. He’s out to find another project to build just like he did with Eminem and 50 Cent. Lets not forget that Dre will also be working as a director in films. He’s signed a deal with New Line Cinema and created Crucial Films. It doesn’t stop there with him and what can you expect this is Dre we are talking about. Eventually you’ll see some bottles of cognac & vodka and the like from the great producer.

What Dre says about this album is how the use of live drumming will be used. He quoted saying, “We have an entirely new thing going with the drums that’s incredible, and we’re still developing that.” Some have speculated that this technique is nothing new to the game with such artist like The Roots using live instruments in their sets and jam sessions.

At the end of the day it is huge news that Dr.Dre’s highly anticipated next album which could be his last is close to be released. With this years Lil’ Wayne’s The Carter III meeting the hype of many, will Detox overshadow Weezys great success?! I know we all are waiting to download dr.dre album detox.

Dr dre where is he? Finishing up his last album. Dre’s Detox release date is most likely at end of 2008.
