I’m back from our Chicago trip! Lollapalooza was crazy. We got to see Radiohead, Iron & Wine, Explosions in the Sky, Battles, Gnarls Barkley, Toadies, Rage, The Nationals, Cat Power, & Nine Inch Nails. We had a great time checking out all the fun stores. Great food, vinyl toy stores, comic book stores, and Lego store.
Had lunch with and old friend of mine Derek. All in all it was a good time and how I miss that King size bed and amazing pillows at the Sheraton.
Now for the party this Saturday! Man I’m so amped about it. Slip N Slide was one of my favorite and memorable childhood memories. Next something that many people know me for is making a mean pork shoulder. Well forget the shoulder we roasting a whole pig in a Caja China (Cuban Style). Now to help digest all the food and provoke you to go down the slip n slide is a tasty keg of Blue Moon. Lets not forget the Wii Mario Kart tournament and maybe Smash Brothers Brawl Tourney.
Have a feeling its going to be a great birthday to remember. If seeing Nine Inch Nails wasn’t enough on my actual birthday last Sunday.
