My friend who works with AT&T and been at training for U-Verse installs just gave me a heads up that there was a soft launch for U-Verse this week for Miami. Apparently this week AT&T employees have access to sign up for the service. This mean in another two weeks we should see some trucks in the Miami area and available to the public.
If I find out more information about this, I’ll be sure to post. I’ll try to get to an AT&T store this week-end and see what I can get out of them. Threaten them with switching to Verizon if they don’t give me some details.
My friend said he’ll be in West Palm in two weeks setting up U-Verse. Looks like a large portion of FL could be getting some new fiber services.
