poisonest creature alive

Yesterday we went to The Museum of Discovery & Science. Nikki found out that they had a frog exhibit. She was excited the whole week jumping up and down about the frogs. As a kid I had been to the museum a bunch of times and had fond memories. I agreed and thought it’d be something different too do. Derek agreed that he’d join us. After passing the turn and eventually reaching our destination we get hit with $10 for parking, rough! You are welcomed into the museum with a giant contraption that powers a clock. There were Batman: Dark Knight posters everywhere when you walk in since the IMAX will be playing it. We got general admission + IMAX for $15, not too shabby. The first thing we saw was the aquariums they have. It was really awesome seeing the reefs and knowing and recognizing almost all of the coral. Before we left I actually decided that it was time too shut down my reef tank and turn it into a freshwater tank. After going through the rest of the museum majority of it was forgettable except for the frog exhibit.  The one section that was clearly the hit of the exhibit was the Poison Dark Frog. These things are so beautiful in person. You’d think that photos are just enhanced since the colors so vibrant but they truly look that amazing in person. The thing that shocked everyone was the facts next to them explaining how they are the poisonest animal alive. Such a small magnificent creature so extremely deadly. After checking out all the frogs I was surprised that they didn’t have tree frogs. We finished checking out the two levels of the museum and headed to our IMAX movie, Deep Ocean 3D. The movie was alright but nothing crazy. I’m not a huge fan of 3D glasses and 3D movies. The frame rate just is all messed up usually and fast motion just looks horrible too me.
