Alright first off I was thinking of posting the spinning girl today. Then I realized what such good news that was announced. First is the fact that Call of Duty’s new game that is due out soon will be sporting 4 player co-op! Now you think ohh yeah w/e but what makes this so Epic is that a NEW game comes out with OFFLINE split screen co-op!!!! That’s HUGE and rarely done. They deserve an award for actually doing this so other developers get the hint that this is what most people want. We do have friends in real life that come over as hard as it is too believe. Of course for all you serious hardcore people who play games 24/7 online and probably don’t have friends in real life cause you’re probably playing COD4 online with your friends (No worries for offending anyone they’ll never read this since they don’t have time for blogs since they play non-stop). They’ll be happy because online 4 player co-op is also available. Now to wonder if Resistance 2 will support 4 player split screen co-op. I’m assuming they do since they support 8 player online co-op.
Now for the real EPIC news! We all know Blizzard is notorious for pushing games back to later dates BUT that doesn’t stop me getting insanely excited when I hear STARCRAFT 2 has release date of December 2nd. Yeah yeah I know chances are this is all a rumor but who cares it’s motha fucking Starcraft 2. For all you guys who complaining its so close to Gears 2 get over it. Starcraft is one of the most epic games ever made. Not to mention you’re comparing a FPS to a RTS game.
As a kid I use to play Decent instead of Doom and all the other games out there. What converted me to a hardcore gamer was Starcraft. My mom still talks about how when I was young she’d goto sleep and see me on the computer and wake up and find me still on it playing ‘that game’. It’s so easy to love Starcraft. The games can range from 15min to 2+ hours. You can jump in and jump out. It’s not an MMO that sucks your life away. Not to mention the Custom games are some of the best out there. How I remember the hours spent playing Elements RPG and running around trying to get points to get the next unit in line.
