The Scotch & Whiskey Party was another success. We probably had a total of 25+ people show up. It was great to see such a huge turn out. Got to see some people I hadn’t seen in awhile and catch up with some old friends. The party didn’t end till around 5:45am.
Saturday we of course slothed around. Nikki, Derek, and I did make it out too Target to pick up some things we needed. During the trip I decided to pick up a copy of the new Metal Gear Solid 4 game for PS3. I only have played MGS2 back when I got my PS2 the Christmas season it was released. Obviously that was time ago. I’ve sort of avoided all news, reviews, trailers, videos, etc about the game but heard things like ‘best game of the decade’ & ‘If we could give it an 11 we would’. All the hype got me to make the purchase. All I have to say is… TOTALLY WORTH IT. Luckily my good friend Mike who works with us at Tidal helps me with questions about the story. Things I’m confused about since I really don’t remember much and have no major experience playing the games get answered by him. I would write up a review for the game but chances are not many people will find it so I’ll give a quick two paragraph review of it once I finish it. I’m started Act 3 and theirs 5 in total so I hear.
Nikki unfortunately got started to feel extremely ill Sunday. Yesterday on my day off I took her too the clinic. She’s still feeling pretty shitty it seems. I don’t think this week-end we will be going out much.
One last note. I tried Peruvian food last Saturday with Sandie and Adrian. Good stuff. Never thought sirloin steak, tomatoes, rice, and French fries would work together well but definitely surprised me.
