Ever since the X&Y album came out I’ve some what not listened to Coldplay much. The album just let me down completely. I was hoping for something new and fresh at the time and it totally was a let down. I tried and tried to really like the album but nothing.
Just a couple days ago I heard that Coldplay was coming out with a new album and one of the tracks is already released on the net. I have yet to hear it but almost want to wait till the album comes out. I’ll never forget when I heard Welcome Home from Coheed & Cambria before the album came out. I heard it and was totally blown away and made me so anguish to hear all of the album because that song rocked so hard. Got the album and after Welcome Home nothing stood out too me. Ever since then I’ve really tried not to get excited about an album when only one track is released.
The title of the new Coldplay album is: Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends
It is due out supposedly June 17th 2008.
On another note Weezer is also coming out with a new album June 24th. That should be interesting to hear as well. As far as a release due out soon Death Cab’s new album Narrow Stairs is officially released May 13th.
