Yesterday was my day off and had tons of things to do. Fortunately enough I got most things done. I currently live in a high rise condo in Brickell. Your security card is practically your key to get in besides your front door key. They’ve been deactivating cards like no bodies business. Right before we left to Palm Coast the card stopped working, awesome! Had to goto the office and reactivate our cards and get a new parking decal. Honestly this place is starting to really upset me. Hopefully I’ll be able to renew with the owner for only 6 months. The only reason we not moving out to one of the new buildings is due to the fact of moving is a pain. Took care of that which was a headache to start off the day but at least it got done.

After taking care of the card this meant I could leave my building and know I could get back in (you need a card to get out of garage!). I took off towards the Apple store in The Falls. Didn’t mind this trip since it is near the Local Fish Store (LFS). Thinking like a regular person would I walked in and assumed I could just make an appointment to fix my iPod. No why would that make sense? The places was packed and they weren’t taking anymore appointments for the day. Dude its a Tuesday afternoon and the place isn’t taking anyone else in for help?! Totally baffled I left the store and thought Jesus I wonder if its like this at Aventura. Off I went to the LFS and picked up some salt water (SW) and noticed a small yellow watchman goby. Totally thought about it and decided I’d take him home with me. If you want to see what a yellow watchman goby looks like check out the reef page.

Came home and did all I had to do for the fish tank. My next plan was too meet up with my old supervisor to pick up my old TV he had. Of course totally didn’t happen, why would things go my way today?! Ended up deciding that my iPod is my oxygen at work and should take care of it A.S.A.P and find out if Aventura would be able to help me out. Sure enough booked! All the stores in Miami area were booked till Thursday except the one far north in Fort Lauderdale. Sure enough even with soring gas prices I totally thought this is worth it. Honestly I’ve grown accustomed to paying near $3.50~ a gallon. Now suppose that my tank of gas is 20 gallons and prices go up too $4.00 which I expect. Thats an extra $10 every time I fill up and I fill up max 4 times a week. Granted its $40 a month extra but is it enough to really cause such a strain on the economy. Granted we talking $80 to fill the tank but but compared to $70. I’d be concerned if it was something that be an additional $150+ per month.

Ok that rant is over. Since I made an appointment at 4:15pm and made it there faster than I thought I stopped by at the Teavana. I was hoping by some miracle they still made the mixed drinks. Sure enough I got lucky and they totally do. Of course it tasted nothing like the ones I remember back in Tampa not to mention not free but enough to make me smile that I know how to make it with a magic bullet now. Walked into Apple with my 2 Days in Mt.Fiji and got my iPod taken care of. On the entire drive back I talked to my older sister, never talk to her since she had kids. She told me about this Power 90 video that her husband John did and lost crazy weight. Yeah lets just say I’ll have it soon (I love the internet).

Came home and started adding all my music back to my iPod. Jesus its a pain trying to add everything back to an iPod. Nikki showed up and we hit up Publix for supplies for the Scotch and Whiskey Party at our place this Friday. Made some food and played some Mario Kart.

All in all I thought it was a successful day and got tons of things done except update the site. Traffics been down but it’s ok, I’ll be adding tons of stuff later.
