Early Saturday morning we left to Palm Coast for Evette’s Baby Shower. We literally got stuck in 2hr traffic trying to get out of Miami to head north. Turns out all 4 or 5 lanes going I-95 North were closed off and converted to one lane. Fun fun fun! Eventually made it safe and sound.

Brian and I soon left the girls at home to do their thing. On the way up I decided to start my journey of Scotch and picked up a bottle of Glenn Lived 12 year. Headed out to Brian’s parents house to relax and just get away. We spent most of the time talking and hang out by the small dock in the back of the house. Will say Scotch is pretty serious and can do some serious damage. Eventually made our way back to the house in one peace. Before we got home we made a quick stop at Wal-Mart to pick up some AA Battery’s and see if by some miracle they’d sell us Mario Kart early. We were stopped and shown the one person line (the things people do sometimes). Headed back and loaded ourselves up all over again with Scotch till Midnight came near. Nikki, Brian, and I were feeling pretty good so luckily Evette being pregnant drove us out to Wal-Mart to pick up Mario Kart (Man some weird things go on late at night at Wal-Mart, backwards sweaters).

Man oh man how Mario Kart is Glorious! Granted we were too drunk to realize we should of been playing in Manual to be able to power slide but we didn’t figure that out till the morning. Later on the week I’ll probably write up a review. Have to get to writing a review for Wii Carnival Games as well because I think its one of the most under rated games out for the Wii. Eventually after nearing 9pm we left Palm Coast on Sunday and came back home to Miami.
